You just gotta love Jessi! A good looking woman who actually knows how to work on cars.
Oh! Bye the way! Dupli-Color and VHT are the best when it comes to engine paint products!! Good video.

Cool. I’ve always used dupli-color and vht products for all of my projects. I just redid a truck and used the truck, van & suv paint for the sheetmetal and the truck bed coating kit. there is nothing that can get that stuff to crack, chip or peel. and i’ve purposely tried to damage it

Very Cool!
I’ll be using VHT engine enamel on my engine.
You look great Jessi !

Question:
Is there a time limit from when you paint with the engine enamel until the enamel can be properly cured(heated)? My engine is out of the truck and it will not be up and running for at least 6-8 months. And I really can’t stick the block in the oven….My wife would kill me!
Thanks!

You Should make a list of the products you use and some links so the customer can order them easier

I own a Toyota Tundra Vehicle Forum on the net and one of our biggest “Do It Yourself” modifications is interior and exterior painting and highlighting.
Your site popped up in one of our Google ads and I watched your how to vids then immediatly posted the vid links on my site.
The members are very excited about having professional advice on how to properly paint the interior and exterior of their vehicles. Not to mention the right paint to use, Duplicolor!
Thanks,
Dez

Enjoy this series especially having owned & customized an El Camino myself . Not to be critical but, I’m surprised the guys aren’t wearing respirators or dust masks when spraying.

Hey Brian,
Where is your wife’s sense of adventure? She can cook the turkey next to the engine block. KIDDING! The engine enamel can be cured as the engine runs. The inherit heat created from the engine will cure the paint. No need to bake it as that is only an optional way of curing.
Thank you.

Hey Brenton,
Canadian Tire can order our Deep Blue part number CBSP204. Napa stocks it.
Hope this helps…
Thank you.

It’s so great to see Jessi again. First saw her on TLC’s Overhaulin, then on Extreme 4×4. Love that girl ! Soo good to see the ladies in the mix (no pun), and that they have the cajones to stand toe to toe in a male centric hobby. You ROCK !
